Daigo Hot Springs(Oku-Kuji)
Daigo Hot Springs(Oku-Kuji)
Daigo Hot Springs are located along the Kujigawa River. Their name comes from their creamy hot spring water, which is said to beautify those who bathe in it. The major component of the water in these crystal-clear springs is mirabilite, or sodium sulfate, which is good for gastroenterological diseases, neuralgia, and rheumatism.
Fukuroda Falls
One of the 3 most famous falls of Japan, Fukuroda Falls is 120 meters high and 73 meters wide and is a majestic spectacle. Because it runs down a vast rock wall in 4 sections, it's also called the "4-section falls". In cold winters the falls freeze, and the icefall scene that results is right out of dreamland.
