
Ishioka No Matsuri
Mikoshi(Portable Shrines), Dashi(Floats) and a Shishi(lion) parade around the central part of Ishioka city. About 400,000 people come to see this festival for 3 days.

Tsuchiura All Japan Fireworks Competition.
This fireworks festival has been held since 1925 for a memorial service for the martyr to duty of Kasumigaura Naval Air Force and for a promotion of local shopping district since 1947, it has become a competition style which fireworks experts compete their skill.

Kasama No Kiku Matsuri (Kasama Chrysanthemum Festival)
Kasama No Kiku Matsuri has been for more than 100 years since 1908 when the then chief priest of Kasama Inari Shrine had made a farm section in the shrine to comfort desolation of people mind due to the Russo-Japanese War.

Mt.Tsukuba Momiji Matsuri (Autumn Leaves Festival)
Mt. Tsukuba is gradually colored into red from the top to the bottom of the mountain.

Ryujin-Kyo Momiji Matsuri (Autumn Leaves Festival)
It is a magnificent view to watch autumn leaves from the longest suspension bridge in Honshu Island.
